Thomas Jefferson was a passionate horticulturist and one of the first Americans to apply scientific methods by collecting and testing fruits and vegetables from around the world in order to evaluate and select those that would be useful and thrive in our country. 

This seed collection includes 8 plant stakes and 8 seed varieties:  Costoluto Genovese Tomato, Bull Nose Pepper, McMahon's Bird Pepper, Yellow Spanish Onion, Tennis Ball Lettuce, West Indian Gherkin Cucumber, Scarlet Runner Bean, and Trailing Mixed Colors Nasturtium.
